Jim MacGregor is Vice President of Operations and Administration at Winning Connections. Jim works closely with our call centers and other vendors to ensure that everything pertaining to our clients’ phone programs runs smoothly and efficiently.
Prior to joining WC, Jim was the Deputy Chief Operations Officer and Operations Manager for Special Projects at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee during the 2004 election cycle. At the DCCC, Jim coordinated approximately 80 congressional campaigns in 40 states for the DCCC Independent Expenditure program. Jim also organized and managed over 40 pollsters, media and mail consultants, and various field program staff involved in the program.
Before coming to the DCCC, Jim was Director of Operations and Associate Political Consultant at Strother-Duffy-Strother, a political media consulting firm in Washington, D.C., where he provided advice and counsel to political candidates as well as corporate and union clients. Jim also oversaw the writing and production of television, radio and print advertising, including acting as the on-site manager for commercial shoots.
Jim graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY with a BA in Government and Environmental Studies. Prior to college, Jim served in the U.S. Navy where he was an aircraft mechanic on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. He lives in Arlington, VA with his wife Melissa and daughter Elizabeth.
