CHALLENGE

Proposals to ban assault weapons had repeatedly failed because of pressure from the gun lobby.

STRATEGY

Deploy a live call program to show legislators their constituents overwhelmingly supported the ban.

RESULTS

We mobilized more than 24,000 constituents in over 70 districts to contact their legislators. The ban passed and is one of the strongest in the nation.​
