2020 IS OFF TO A GREAT START!
Campaigns & Elections Magazine’s Reed Award ceremonies just wrapped up, and we took home awards for “Best Live Call”, “Best Use of SMS”, and “Best Telephone Town Hall” for our work on a big gubernatorial election in deep-red Kentucky as well as rallying supporters for a women’s rights bill in Michigan.
In Kentucky, Matt Bevin was seeking reelection, but his unpopularity left an opening for a challenger to make a run. Backing Democratic candidate Andy Beshear, Kentucky Family Values brought us in to persuade voters with live calls and texting based on issues that were most important to them. This program earned us the Reed Awards for “Best Live Phone Call” and “Best Use of SMS” at the February event.
In Michigan, women’s health advocates saw the urgency to pass a bill protecting the right to choose as other states, as well as the federal government, were threatening to strip women’s constitutional rights. We worked with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan to rally supporters during a teleforum featuring special guest Governor Whitmer. For this event, we were given the “Best Telephone Town Hall” Reed Award.
We’re hard at work right now helping to pass other critical legislation and connect with voters who are going to turn a lot of red seats blue in November. We are grateful for all of the organizations we are partnering with to do this important work.
We’d love to speak with you about your efforts and show you how we can be the winning push that you need for your candidate or your cause. Contact us to start calls today!
